On offer for sale is a collectors set and a long discontinued, Rolex Submariner five-digital model in the original size of 40mm case, model 16610. This is one of the last examples of five-digit pre-ceramic Rolex Submariner, which also comes with laser engraved Rolex text and serial number in the case rehaut (inner bezel). 
 
What makes this opportunity even more rarer is that this particular example of Submariner is coming from its original owner, and presents in what appears to be an unpolished condition - something you rarely see in a watch over 15 years old, and discontinued 15 years ago. The watch further comes as afull set with all boxes, and papers dated 2010 as shown in the photos.
 
The watch presents in preloved and carefully worn condition. It shows all the original patina and light scratches and marks of use, as carefully captured and shown in all the photos. We can also refinish this watch for you and make it like new, but we very much doubt that anyone would want to refinish such a collectible timepiece. 
 
The watch has been thoroughly assessed for its mechanical functioning, water proofness to 300 meters and is authenticated by us prior to listing. The watch keeps time well with strong movement amplitude and is not immediately due for service, but since there's no service history, servicing is recommended.

The green Rolex box shows minor damaged and the closing hinge shows on the backside (only cosmetic flaw), yet the box opens and closes without any problems.
