PAYMENT OF AN ORDER

Payments for an Order are accepted via credit card (please contact us for our list of accepted credit cards). We do not accept cryptocurrency or cash payments.

Calibre24 may not be able to, or may decline to, accept payment from you for any reason including, but not limited to:

  • If the name on the credit card/account name does not match the name on the Order Request, or if the Order Request and payment are considered suspicious;
  • Where our fraud detection systems detect possible irregularities;
  • Because your financial institution has declined payment or flagged a suspected breach;
  • Because your credit card has expired.

If you’re sending the payment from a business account, we will require documentation including but not limited to Certificate of incorporation, ASIC Extract, Company Share structure, Registration proof, ownership of bank account etc.

In these cases, Calibre24 may refuse to accept your Order Request or place your Order Request on hold while requesting additional information from you (such as proof of identity documents).

Should we not hear back from you, or if we do not accept your proof of identity due to suspected fraud, Calibre24 reserves the right to cancel your Order.

PICK UP OF GOODS IN-STORE

You may elect to conveniently pick up your Goods at the Calibre24 showroom if you wish. This option can be chosen when you checkout on the Calibre24 website. There is no charge for this service. Please note that an appointment booking is required; our showroom operates via appointment only.

You acknowledge and agree that:

  • Only the relevant person who ordered the goods may pick up the Goods in-store, unless otherwise agreed between you and Calibre24. Calibre24 may request you to provide photo identification upon pick up to verify you are the purchaser. If requested, you must allow Calibre24 to take a photo/copy of the provided identification for fraud prevention purposes. The copy of identification will be kept for records and will not be used for any other purpose unless stated in the section below.
  • You may pick up the Goods once the Order has been accepted by us and a notification has been sent to you advising the Goods are ready for collection.
  • Calibre24 reserves the right to refuse collection of Goods if you cannot or will not satisfy the requirements set out above.

For Showrooms pick-up, please allow a minimum of 2–4 business days in addition to your Completion Date for your order.

Calibre24 may retain a copy of identification provided for fraud prevention, security, and verification purposes in accordance with its Privacy Policy.

Clients will be notified once their Goods are ready for collection. Goods must be collected within a reasonable timeframe following notification.

Know Your Customer Notice

This Collection Notice has been developed in accordance with applicable data protection and privacy laws and intends to inform you of what Personal Data we will collect from you as part of our due diligence processes.

As a licensed second-hand dealer, Calibre24 is required to comply with obligations under the Western Australian Pawnbrokers and Second-hand Dealers Act 1994 which has similar requirements.

To comply with these obligations, we are required to check a customer’s identity by collecting and verifying their Personal Data before providing them with our products and services. We are also required to periodically collect Personal Data to check that the information we hold is accurate and up to date, which may involve us re-verifying a customer’s identity.

The type of Personal Data we may collect includes your:

  • full name
  • date of birth
  • telephone number
  • email address
  • residential address (plus billing and shipping addresses, if applicable)
  • occupation
  • other information that you provide us to establish your identity, such as your
    • driver’s licence, passport or national identity card.
    • A recent utility bill (issued within last three months) confirming your name and residential address.

We may also collect the following special categories of data:

  • bank account number (and other financial and transactional information)
  • signature
  • a yes/no response as to whether you have any criminal convictions
  • details of the alleged criminal convictions if a yes response is returned, such as the nature of the crime (i.e. narcotics, trafficking, or environmental) and the sentence
  • details of your political affiliations or political exposure.
  • Evidence of purchase if you’re selling to us or consigning with us.

What data we collect may vary depending on the type of service we are providing. For example, we may require additional information from sole traders, Australian companies, non-Australian companies, trusts, superannuation funds, partnerships, or associations. Data may also vary depending on which country you reside or operate your business in.

We may collect personal information from you in several ways, including, but not limited to:

  • by email
  • over the telephone
  • through written correspondence and forms
  • through our website (including when you create an account or use a webform)
  • in person
  • when you upload the information.

Calibre24 may disclose your personal information to third parties including:

  • For the purpose of verifying your identity
  • service providers, such as delivery carriers, if you place an order for delivery
  • organisations to meet certain contractual, legal, or regulatory obligations.

OVERDUE PAYMENT

In the event where a client has failed to make final payment or has not responded to Calibre24 requests for payment within 28 days from the date of order completion, Calibre24 reserves the right to cancel the Order.

In the event of cancellation due to non-payment or non-response, any amounts previously paid towards the Order, including deposits, instalments, or partial payments, will be forfeited.

Calibre24 may also, at its sole discretion:

  • retain, repurpose, dismantle, or resell the item; and/or
  • recover any outstanding amounts owed in connection with the Order.

Prior to cancellation, Calibre24 will make reasonable attempts to contact the client using the contact details provided with the Order.

CHANGE OF MIND

If the order is paid for partially or in full but we have not shipped the item to you yet, and you wish to cancel the entire order, you will receive a credit note for the full purchased amount of the invoice, valid for thirty-six (36) months or you may exchange any items on your order for other item(s) of equal or greater value. Any additional items to the order will be added with the current advertised price and may attract further delivery fees.

If you choose to terminate your standard purchase order before taking possession and only if you do not want a store Credit or exchange, then you will be subject to a cancellation fee. The cancellation fee will be calculated as thirty percent (30%) of the total initial purchase value of  the requested cancelled item as dated on the Tax Invoice. If you opt for a refund, we will apply the Cancellation fee and return the remainder to you via the same method of payment.

UNCOLLECTED GOODS

Clients will be notified once their Goods are ready for collection or dispatch.

Where Goods that are fully paid for remain uncollected after 28 days following notification of order completion, Calibre24 may issue a final notice requesting collection or further instructions.

If the client fails to respond, arrange collection, or finalise the Order within 90 days of the final notice, Calibre24 reserves the right to:

  • cancel the Order;
  • forfeit any amounts previously paid towards the Order, including deposits and instalments; or
  • retain, repurpose, dismantle, dispose of, or resell the Goods at its sole discretion.

Calibre24 will not be liable for any loss, damage, or claim arising from the cancellation, disposal, repurposing, or resale of uncollected Goods after the expiry of the stated collection period.
