The Submariner has been in continuous production since 1953 and is, by any reasonable measure, the most recognized dive watch ever made. The 124060 is its purest form: no date window, no Cyclops lens, just a perfectly symmetrical black dial and a black ceramic bezel.
Watch enthusiasts have long respected the No Date variant for its symmetrical dial, historical authenticity, and clean design. The debate between date and no-date is one of the most persistent in sports watch collecting, and the no-date position is well-grounded: the Submariner was designed as a dive instrument before date complications were added, and the uninterrupted dial reads closer to the original intent. The clean, symmetrical dial is the Submariner in its purest form.
A 2026 example represents the freshest possible version of the current generation — the Submariner sat out the 2026 Watches and Wonders cycle entirely, meaning the 124060 in production now is unchanged from the 2020 relaunch that introduced the Calibre 3230 and the current 41mm case.
Excellent. Case and bracelet show no meaningful wear — this is a recent, lightly worn full-set example. The Cerachrom bezel retains its deep black finish and rotates correctly. The dial is clean, the markers and lume are pristine, and the sapphire crystal is clear. Bracelet links are tight with no stretch. The full set is complete and intact.
The secondary market for the 124060 has settled into a stable band, with demand that is collector-driven and weighted toward the traditional Submariner look. A 2026 full-set example is as fresh as this generation gets — the reference is unchanged, the warranty card is current.
For a buyer who wants the archetypal Rolex sports watch without a date complication they may not need, this is the reference. And unlike many references in the Rolex range, this one is available now.

Please note that since we use a specialized equipment and macro lens, there may be some fingerprints and dust/debris visible in the photos that is otherwise not perceivable from an unaided human eye.

Is this Rolex Submariner No Date 124060 available in Australia? Yes. This 2026 124060 is held in stock in Perth by Calibre24 and ships fully insured across Australia, including Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, and Adelaide. In-person viewings are available in Perth by appointment.
What is the Rolex Submariner No Date 124060? The 124060 is the current no-date version of the Rolex Submariner, introduced in 2020. It has a 41mm Oystersteel case, a black Cerachrom ceramic bezel with platinum-coated graduations, a symmetrical black dial with no date aperture, and Rolex’s Calibre 3230 movement with approximately 70 hours of power reserve and 300m water resistance. It is certified as a Rolex Superlative Chronometer to ±2 seconds per day.
What is the difference between the Rolex Submariner 124060 and 126610LN? The 124060 is the no-date Submariner; the 126610LN is the Submariner Date. Both share the same 41mm Oystersteel case, black Cerachrom bezel, 300m water resistance, and Oyster bracelet. The differences are: the 126610LN has a date aperture with Cyclops magnifying lens at 3 o’clock, runs the Calibre 3235 instead of the 3230, and retails slightly higher. The no-date 124060 has a symmetrical dial without the date window and is favoured by collectors who prioritise the clean, purist Submariner look. The case also sits marginally slimmer on the wrist without the date module.
What movement is in the Rolex Submariner 124060? The Calibre 3230 — Rolex’s in-house self-winding movement, introduced in 2020. It runs at 28,800 vph, delivers approximately 70 hours of power reserve, and uses the Chronergy escapement for improved energy efficiency. It has a paramagnetic blue Parachrom hairspring for shock and magnetic resistance, and is certified as a Superlative Chronometer to ±2 seconds per day — Rolex’s own in-house standard, stricter than COSC alone.
What is Cerachrom and why does it matter on the Submariner bezel? Cerachrom is Rolex’s proprietary high-tech ceramic compound used for the Submariner bezel insert. It is virtually scratch-proof, highly resistant to UV fading, and its recessed graduation markings are filled with platinum via a PVD (physical vapour deposition) process, making them permanent. The black Cerachrom bezel on the 124060 will not fade, scratch, or degrade under normal conditions.
Does this Rolex Submariner 124060 come with box and papers? Yes — complete full set with original inner box, outer box, Rolex green warranty card, manuals, and booklets.
What is the Rolex Glidelock system on the Submariner bracelet? Glidelock is Rolex’s patented bracelet extension system, built into the Oysterlock clasp on the Submariner. It allows the wearer to adjust bracelet length in 2mm increments without tools — useful for fitting over a wetsuit or adjusting for temperature-related wrist changes during a dive. The adjustment range is approximately 20mm.
Can I sell or trade in my Rolex? Yes. Calibre24 buys and takes consignment on Rolex and other high-end references. Contact us for a current valuation.
